Angelina Pivarnick faces charges in New Jersey for assault and criminal mischief, among other crimes. The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation personality’s lawyer claims the situation was “blown out of proportion.”
According to a municipal summons that was obtained by TMZ, the MTV star “is up against a slew of charges in New Jersey including simple assault, criminal mischief, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. The summons doesn’t have more info beyond this.” It does note; however, that “further info is unavailable due to confidential information.”
Page Six reported, “Freehold Township Police Department officers told the outlet that they are not able to discuss the nature of whatever happened at Pivarnick’s house. There are legal exemptions for publicly releasing info related to domestic violence cases and/or criminal investigations.
Meanwhile, Pivarnick’s attorney explained that the “very minor incident” was “exacerbated by an adverse reaction to prescribed over-the-counter medication.” James Leonard Jr., continued, “We look forward to resolving this matter favorably and putting it behind us.”
An eyewitness from a since-deleted Reddit post claimed they saw multiple police vehicles and an ambulance arrive at Angelina’s home on Sunday. It was confirmed that her fiancé was at her house at the time of the incident and when police arrived. It’s unclear whether he was the alleged victim.
