Radio legend Howard Stern is reminding Andy Cohen not to “screw it up” as the longtime radio host hands over the reins to one of his SiriusXM channels.
The shock jock and Bravo TV executive announced a major SiriusXM shake-up. Andy will take over Howard 101, which will become the new home of his Radio Andy universe of shows.
Howard Stern will continue hosting The Howard Stern Show on Channel 100. The announcement comes just one day after SiriusXM revealed that The Howard Stern Show will return for its new season on September 14. Howard Stern recently inked a deal with HBO Max to bring his episodes to the streaming service.
“Howard, you wise guy,” began Andy. “Last year, we pranked the world. We made everybody think that I was taking over Howard 100. It was the best morning,” The WWHL host joked. “Now, the carrot is being dangled. Radio Andy will be taking over 101. Is this a prank? Am I being pranked?”
“No, you are not being pranked,” replied the Private Parts author. “And Andy has been gracious enough to take over 101 and I have one request: Please continue the tradition of doing a lot of gay antics.”
Andy quipped that The Stern Show was actually “gayer than mine,” prompting Stern to encourage him to “up the gay” on his new channel. Despite the channel switch, Howard made it clear he isn’t going anywhere from Channel 100. “I feel Howard 101 is in very capable hands. Enjoy it, take good care of it. And if you blow it, I will be the first one to laugh at you,” Howard warned Andy.
