Andy Cohen revealed he and former Real Housewives of New York star, Carole Radziwill, have squashed their long-running beef.
People caught up with Bravo TV’s daddy who gave an update on his relationship with RHONY‘s ‘Writer Girl.’
Burying the hatchet:
During Bravo’s Fan Fest, Andy disclosed, “Carole and I reconnected recently, actually. It feels great.”
He reminded Bravoholics, “Carole and I knew each other for years, before she was ever on the Housewives — for many years. I think I’ve known her more outside of the Housewives than I have in the Housewives. So it was definitely good to reconnect.”
Carole entered the chat:
After a six-year hiatus, the frenemies have moved back into the friend zone.
“We both came to understand that our disagreements had everything to do with the high-pressure nature of the show and very little to do with our friendship, which proceeded it,” explained Carole.
“Andy and I are very much on the same page now, and I’m happy about that.”
What went wrong?
ICYMI, Andy and Carole had a famous fallout after the RHONY season 10 reunion, which focused on the fractured friendship between Carole and Bethenny Frankel.
After Andy appeared to stick up for Bethenny, Carole called Cohen “full of sh*t.” Unafraid of the repercussions, she asked Andy if he was “afraid of [Bethenny], too?”
Andy announced he was just trying to keep the playing field even. “All I was doing was pointing out, ‘Yeah, you both have been talking sh*t about each other. I wasn’t saying anyone was talking more sh*t or not. Don’t deny that you never said anything bad about this person, ’cause you both were talking sh*t about each other.”
Fast forward to after Carole left RHONY …
Andy scrutinized how she handled her departure in the book Not All Diamonds And Rosé. “Carole basically implied that she was leaving a really toxic situation. It really rubbed me the wrong way because I really felt like I had changed her life. She is not the person I used to know.”
