Two Different Accounts Of Zac Efron’s “Minor Swimming Incident” Leave Fans Curious Of What Really Transpired

It feels like something nefarious happened with the “minor swimming incident” Zac Efron experienced while visiting Ibiza. The High School Musical actor’s rep provided an update on Zac’s health. But, a source “with direct knowledge” also gave information to TMZ. The claims DO NOT match up. Below is a timeline of Zac’s accident with the information we currently from August 3rd.

12:27 pm

Zac Efron was taken to a hospital in Spain “as a precautionary measure” after a “minor swimming incident.” A representative for Zac told the tabloid, he “was released from the hospital this morning, and he’s recovering just fine.

*Note: The source is Zac’s personal staff member. Key words: ‘minor‘ and ‘just fine.’*

12:47 pm

Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ, “Zac was found inside the swimming pool by two people working at the villa who pulled him out of the water.”
*Note: This is a different source, someone I’m guessing is NOT on his payroll. Notice how different this statement feels. The subtext implies that a couple staffers saw Zac in a swimming pool distressed. Seemingly, the employees had to get in the water to save a famous actor before taking him to the hospital. That doesn’t seem ‘minor’ and this is NOT ‘fine.’

2:38 pm

“The rep for Efron did not reply as to how this could be a minor incident when he was taken out of the pool and sent to the hospital.”
*Note: This is Zac’s rep again (who’s likely on his payroll). He didn’t respond to the other source’s claim of how the incident transpired … must be thinking of a spin for the press.

3:48 pm

Zac’s rep was ready to give another statement. This time, he low-key acknowledged the accusation Zac was pulled out of the water by a pair of employees. “When asked why Efron was taken to the hospital for a minor incident, his rep once again reiterated it was purely a precautionary measure. However, the rep did not say what caused him to be in distress in the pool.”
Note: Yet again, Zac’s paid representative (or maybe family member or friend?!)  downplayed the claim that the “direct source” made.

Rabbit Hole:

Rumors of abuse against Zac in his child acting years have circulated. While I don’t have the emotional capacity to deep dive the allegations of Zac’s abuse, he’s referred to as ‘Bayley Blue’ in blind items that give insight into what he’s allegedly endured.

That leads us Zac’s history of substance abuse. He admitted to using alcohol and cocaine to deal with daily life in the public eye.

If you’ve followed Zac throughout the years, the man is fit. He’s always maintained a strong, fit physique. (Trust me … I’ve noticed!) However, many speculated he used steroids to prepare for the film, The Iron Claw. His body and face changed so much, it’s hard to recognize Zac.

Now, my man is helpless in a swimming pool, gets saved by a pair of staff members, rushed to a hospital and his agent says everything is ‘just fine.’

Oh, and regarding to the ‘fans’ I referred to in the title. It’s me. I am ‘fans.’
