Summer House star, West Wilson, not only enjoyed Bad Bunny‘s Super Bowl halftime performance, but he also gave flowers to the NFL for choosing the Puerto Rican superstar as its headlining act.
The NFL did right by West:
“Obviously, [there’s been] a lot of Super Bowl halftime discourse. I wanted to give the NFL flowers. They got backlash when they even announced Bad Bunny was performing. I think, like so many big corporations do, they could have cowered down, pivoted, softened, and they absolutely did not.”
“NFL owners are billionaires, probably conservative-leaning. They very much could have played it safe, and they didn’t. I’ll tip my cap to the NFL who gets a lot of sh*t all the time.”
“Bad Bunny obviously isn’t controversial. That whole halftime showed what America is. The NFL chose to lean into that. They leaned into that diversity, inclusion, and love.”
“Just because I don’t think it’s controversial doesn’t mean that it isn’t. Many people have had things to say.”
“I think leaning into diversity and representing so many people is so f*cking patriotic and f*cking cool. I’m proud to be an NFL fan because they didn’t shrink.”
“The video board said, ‘The only thing stronger than hate is love.’ The football Bad Bunny held said, ‘Together, we are America.’ That sh*t’s beautiful.”
“I think it’s a good time to be a supporter of the NFL, and I’m tipping my cap,” concluded West.

This isn’t the first time West used his platform to share his opinion on social matters:
Last month, West made it clear he’s anti-ICE, and he doesn’t care if people have a problem with it.
West posted a video on TikTok of himself dancing to Future’s Ski. He’s wearing a shirt of a member of America’s Gestapo slipping on ice, who was mocked by Americans peacefully protesting the homegrown terrorists.
When the few trolls came out, West danced off the hate.
