Vicki Gunvalson just dropped a bombshell on Jeff Lewis Live — the OG of the OC won’t be appearing on season 19 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
When a fan asked if we’d be seeing her on the upcoming season, Vicki gave a heartbreaking update:
“The answer is no, they never called me,” she admitted.
Even in seasons where she was demoted, Vicki noted she still typically filmed something:
“If not full time, I am doing something.” But this time? Total silence.
Jeff Lewis suggested her absence may have something to do with The Dark Side of Reality TV docuseries, where Vicki criticized Bravo for airing the devastating moment she learned of her mother’s death at Shannon Beador’s Bunko party.
Vicki insists her comments were “taken out of context” and claims she was prompted to speak on the topic.
She even apologized to Andy Cohen afterward and now believes she was “set up” by Vice’s producers.
Still, she stands by it being “a sh-tty thing” to film and air, especially after she asked them not to.
Regardless of how you feel about the drama, one thing’s clear — RHOC just won’t be the same without Vicki’s iconic whoops and woohoos.
