Southern Charm‘s Venita Aspen is open to taking her friendship with Ciara Miller to the next level … a spin-off!
Venita was interviewed by Elite Daily and gushed about her close friendship with the Summer House star.
Girl power:
Ciara sent Venita a DM in 2020 to welcome her to the Bravosphere. The pair have been in touch since. “I’m at her house every time I’m in New York,” explained Venita, which is often, as she’s been back and forth between NY and Charleston nearly every week.
Regarding the online fodder around a spinoff focused on Venita and Ciara’s friendship, Venita is down! “They want it, and I want to do it. We just have to figure out the best plan of action.”
In the meantime, Venita is open to filming Summer House with Ciara in the Hamptons for a crossover. “I might trickle my way over to Summer House. We’ll see.”
Herstory:
In December, Ciara commented in support of Venita. The nurse/model spoke on Venita’s benefit in the media, as a fellow black woman on a predominantly white cast.
Venita reflected on feeling seen by Ciara. “I texted her and thanked her because I don’t know how to speak on those feelings without getting so sad or angry to the point that I just flip out on everybody.”
“It’s nice to know that she had my back, but it’s also sad that no one else from my cast is going to say anything like that.”
