Kelsey Clark, who won season 16 of Top Chef Kentucky, was arrested for DUI after driving into a mailbox in Alabama, as per reports from TMZ.
The crash was in a residential neighborhood where she commuted with her two children in the vehicle.

Dothan PD officers were called to a residential street on Wednesday, January 21st. Kelsey drove her vehicle into the mailbox. Police noted Chef Kelsey reeked of booze and showed several other indications of driver impairment.
Chef Kelsey’s kids were in the car.
According to police, Kelsey was given field sobriety tests. She was asked to walk in a straight line and stand on one foot.
We can infer how it went … Chef Kelsey Clark was then taken to the Dothan City Jail and booked for DUI.
According to Alabama’s WSFA, “The children were not injured in the crash and were reportedly allowed to go home with a family member. Clark was also not injured.”

Kelsey Clark gained notoriety in 2019 after she winning Season 16 of Top Chef Kentucky.
She now serves as a judge on Netflix‘s Next Gen Chef and owns a restaurant in downtown Dothan called KBC. She also penned 3 cookbooks: Southern Grit, Southern Get-Togethers, and The Flavor of Fire.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a former employee of Manhattan’s Café Boulud, Chef Kelsey is known for blending classical French technique with Southern cuisine.
She was a 2024 James Beard Award nominee for Best Chef: South.
