Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer, and Dorinda Medley wrapped the “first batch” of episodes for E!’s The Golden Life which has already scored an “expanded episode order.”
TMZ reported, “The women recently wrapped filming in Palm Beach … and network brass were so pleased with what they saw, they decided to greenlight additional episodes.”
Apparently, the RHONY alums impressed E! execs with the footage they’ve already shot for The Golden Life. It was reported that “Cameras will fire back up at the end of the month, with the cast heading to the Hamptons before returning to New York City to continue filming.”
The source was blunt with their opinion of RHONY being completely revamped. “Bravo made the worst decision of their lives by recasting RHONY.”
The vibe of the [E!] show is much different than the drama-heavy formula fans came to expect from the Housewives universe. Our sources describe The Golden Life as “fun” and “light.”
TMZ added that the series also features a cameo from Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Margaret Josephs.
