Turns out, Taylor Frankie Paul will still get paid — even though her season of The Bachelorette never aired.
TMZ exclusively reported that Taylor’s contract was for services rendered, meaning she fulfilled her obligations despite the season being scrapped.
According to the report, Taylor completed filming and even participated in most of the promotional rollout before the situation took a turn.
And from there… we all know how the story ended.
ICYMI: ABC ultimately decided to pull the entire season after the internet saw the infamous 2023 video showing Taylor throwing multiple metal chairs at Dakota Mortensen during a physical altercation.
Dakota filmed the incident himself, narrating the chaos as it happened, though it’s still unclear who leaked the footage to the press.
Multiple reports also claim ABC was already aware of the incident before casting Taylor, as she had openly discussed the fight in past interviews.
In fact, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives literally opens with police investigating the altercation, including body cam footage of Taylor being questioned.
As for how much she’s getting paid, the exact number hasn’t been confirmed.
However, TMZ reports the salary falls somewhere in the low-to-mid six-figure range, which lines up with what past leads have made.
Since Warner Bros. Discovery produces the series, the studio is still on the hook to pay her — even though the season will never see the light of day.
