Southern Charm personality Taylor Ann Green is enjoying life on her own terms after ending relationships with two unfaithful ex-boyfriends.
“I couldn’t be happier to have my life back,” revealed Taylor during an Instagram Q&A.
Taylor confirmed in June that she had split from Gaston Rojas after three years of dating. She admitted that she suspected Gaston, 34, had cheated on her, though he denied being unfaithful.
Before Gaston, Taylor’s rocky relationship with Southern Charm costar Shep Rose played out on Bravo. Their romance ultimately ended after Taylor discovered that Shep, 47, had cheated on her. Shep later admitted to his infidelity, even confessing that “sometimes it was fun” to fool around behind Taylor’s back.
Now, Taylor is opening up about the similarities between her two relationships. When a fan asked for “the dirty deets” about her split from Gaston, Taylor didn’t hold back. “Really nothing to it other than finding out about an ongoing affair with a girl in New York #goknicks,” she quipped.
Taylor then took a swipe at her former flames, explaining the one major difference between the two men. “The only difference between one cheating ex over the other is that one of them (cough cough) was at least man enough to admit his faults and not lie to cover it up. For that, I will have (and have had) respect, forgive and move forward. We are better for it.”
Meanwhile, speculation about a possible reconciliation between Taylor and Shep has continued to swirl after the former couple was spotted filming Southern Charm earlier this year. A Season 12 trailer even showed them dancing together during a cast trip to Maui, much to the dismay of Shep’s friends, Craig Conover and Austen Kroll.
Shep remained coy about the status of their relationship at Bravo Fan Fest in Charleston on October 24. “Everything’s great,” he teased, revealing that he and Taylor had spoken on the phone for 45 minutes the day before. When asked whether a reconciliation could be in the cards, Shep smiled and replied, “You’re going to have to find out, darling.”
However, Taylor previously shut down speculation that filming with her ex meant they were rekindling their romance. “I have seen the rumors that we’re getting back together or hooking up again or whatever, and that is not true. Even if I wanted to hook up with Shep again or get back together, I would hope I have a little bit more respect for myself to go from one cheating ex to the other.”
