Sarah Williams and John Shannon, Love Is Blind Season 11’s only married couple, have reportedly called it quits just days before the show’s highly anticipated reunion.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Sarah filed for divorce from John in Massachusetts on June 4, citing an irretrievable breakdown of their marriage.
The divorce filing reportedly revealed that the couple married on March 27, 2025, but were living separately by April 15, 2026. Sarah also requested permission to legally revert to her maiden name and asked the court to divide their financial assets and debts.
The reported split comes just four days before the Love Is Blind Season 11 reunion. And judging by the reunion preview, there is plenty of drama left to unpack.
In the teaser, Nick Lachey puts John on the spot with a pointed question. “I’ll ask you point blank, did you cheat on your wife?”
Sarah and John’s relationship had its fair share of bumps throughout the season. Their romance got off to an awkward start when Sarah overheard John telling another contestant that she was one of his “bottom” choices in the pods.
The couple also faced disagreements over healthcare and political issues, with John expressing hesitation about identifying as pro-vaccine or pro-choice.
However, Sarah previously defended their conversations. Viewers only saw a small portion of a much longer discussion. She said the two had ultimately found common ground. Sarah insisted she would have been comfortable with an answer that didn’t necessarily align with her own values.
John also addressed the controversy in an October 16 Instagram post. He clarified that he supports a woman’s right to choose and does not consider himself anti-vaccine. He explained that their hour-long conversation had been condensed into approximately 45 seconds for the show.
Love Is Blind‘s season 11 reunion airs on Netflix Sunday at 9 p.m. ET.
