Taste of Reality was invited to the grand opening of Daniella Karagach and Pasha Pashkov’s dessert and coffee shop, Sulta Rosa!
Located at 821 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, Sulta Rosa blends specialty coffee, artisanal desserts, and elevated hospitality in a warm, luxurious setting inspired by tradition and modern indulgence.
The Vibe
Sleek, clean, and inviting, you can tell Daniella and Pasha took great care in designing the shop.
In fact, every design detail was thoughtfully curated by Daniella herself, Pasha lovingly told us when we asked about the inspiration.
From the décor on the shelves behind the bar to the flowers hanging outside, Dani had a hand in every element.
While the DWTS pros plan to pop in as much as they can, you can rest assured knowing they’re extremely involved in the food, drinks, and overall guest experience.
Huge shoutout to Sulta Rosa for having AC because some of the Miami establishments we visited in the area definitely did not!
The Food
I had my first-ever bite of baklava at Sulta Rosa, which is one of the Pashkovs’ favorites.
We tried two flavors—the classic pistachio and chocolate—and enjoyed both.
Per Ashley, baklava tends to be on the sweeter side for her.
However, like many of the desserts, these somehow felt indulgent without being overly heavy.
Dani and I also tried the milk fingers for the first time, and they were incredibly light and airy.
Speaking of finger delights, a variety of flavors were available, including blackberry, lemon, mango, and cranberry.
For just $5, you can mix and match four different flavors.
Ashley and I also sampled the rose petal and apple fingers—one of Dani’s favorites—which were equally lovely and light.
If you’re looking for something a little more indulgent, Sulta Rosa also offers an assortment of croissants, pastries, breads, and cakes ranging from $5 to $14.
As for the drinks, Ashley tried the Affogato, an Italian coffee-based dessert.
“Considering how dark it was, it went down very light and easy. I would describe it as robust and slightly nutty.”
If coffee isn’t your thing, the menu also features a variety of matchas, teas, lemonades, and ube drinks.
Another standout that Ashley and I were both fascinated by was the hot sand coffee—a traditional Turkish brewing method with a Mediterranean twist.
The brewing process alone made it worth watching.
Taste Test
“We’ve been open a few months now and people love it,” Dani told us, teasing a potential second location.
And after visiting, we can see why.
The pricing is comparable to other specialty coffee shops, but you’re supporting a local business instead of a major chain.
The location is also ideal, nestled among popular shops and local hotspots on Lincoln Road.
Whether you’re craving a coffee, pastry, or something sweet, there’s truly something for everyone.
Next time you find yourself in Miami Beach, be sure to stop by Sulta Rosa for a sweet treat—and tell them Taste of Reality sent you!
