Love Island USA host Ariana Madix continues to support her former Dancing With the Stars pro partner, Pasha Pashkov.
DWTS fans may have peeped Ariana enjoying the live show from the studio audience, but she also appeared on the Dancing with the Stars Official Podcast, breaking down ‘Wicked Night.’
Ariana rides for Pasha:
In retrospect, Ariana’s “favorite” number to perform with Pasha on season 32 was the Foxtrot on the semifinals. “That was the first time Pasha had ever gotten a perfect score. And so it was really meaningful to be able to be a part of that.”
“That was my favorite because of the scores. I had a really hard time. Yes, I wanted to get to the end. I wanted to do all the weeks. But, I have a hard time saying that I want to do things for [myself].”
“Something that really helped motivate me throughout the season was Pasha and wanting to do things for Pasha. I’m like, I gotta get that 10, I gotta get those perfect scores, because I gotta get it for him, because he works so hard and he deserves it.”
“And Nikita is a tiny little baby, and she’s the best parents ever.” (Pasha shares a child with his wife/fellow DWTS pro-dancer, Daniella Karagach.)
“I had this extra motivation, and I think that’s part of also what made the dance so nice. When I look back and I watch the choreography, it’s very much this thing where I was doing this for him. [I’m] trying to be the best ballroom dancer I possibly can, for the best ballroom teacher ever. And that was that one moment for me.”
ICYMI:
Pasha and his current professional partner, Danielle Fishel, haven’t earned a 10 (yet), but they scored their highest scores of the season on Wicked Night.
Their Argentine tango to “No Good Deed” earned the pair 36/40 (9, 9, 9, 9).
