Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Stacey Rusch set the record straight regarding her relationship with former RHOP husband, Chris Samuels.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Stacey shifts the focus from Chris to her co-star, Ashley Darby, who accused her of trying to hook up with Monique Samuel’s ex.
Stacey spoke out:
“I know Chris socially, and that’s it,” declared Stacey.
“And I think that you will see, as we go about through the season, how there are many things that Ashley will say that are not true. We can talk about accusations all day long. But again, I know who I am. I know my relationships with my friends, and he’s a friend, and I know him socially.”
Stacey noted that Chris is a “great guy.” Additionally, dished on what it was like to film alongside Monique. “She’s a lot of fun,” Stacey said of her costar. “Yeah, a lot of fun. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her until we started filming together and, yeah, she’s a good time.”
Stacey issued a warning. “I am a very pleasant and peaceful woman. But I’m going to stand up for myself. So if you want to throw it at me, I catch it and throw it right back, and you will receive it right in your hand.”
Re: Monique and Chris’s divorce:
After more than 10 years of marriage, Monique filed for divorce in April 2023. The divorce was finalized on September 25, 2023 in the Montgomery County Family Court in Maryland.
The couple shares three children: Christopher, Milani, and Chase.
Sadly, Monique’s scene-stealing African grey parrot, T’Challa, passed away after a freak accident in July of 2021.
