Several of the stars of Shahs of Sunset, which ran on Bravo from 2012-2021, are coming back to the network for a new show, The Valley: Persian Style.
Since we’ll be able to catch up with Reza Farahan & Adam Neely Farahan, Mercedes MJ Javid & Tommy Feight, and GG Gharachedaghi on their new show, let’s take a look at what their friends/co-stars from Shahs have been up to!
Asa Soltan Rahmati
After seven seasons on Shahs, Asa decided to keep her private life, well, private.
ICYMI, Asa married into the Jackson family. Yes, that Jackson family. Asa’s a mom to son Soltan, whom she welcomed in 2017, with Jermaine Jackson Jr.
Asifa Mirza
Having joined the full-time cast on season 4, Asifa moving to a guest role on season 5, before moving to a very different role …
Asifa is the Regional Vice President at VitaTek, a private medical device manufacturer.
Never forget, Asifa appeared with her husband on Marriage Boot Camp. In late 2017. It ended with Asifa tweeting that she walked away, posting, “I’m out,” and stating, “We are not together, don’t do cheaters.”
Lilly Ghalichi
After starring on seasons two and three of Shahs, ‘Perisan Barbie’ tied the knot with Dara Mir in 2017. The couple welcomed Alara in September 2018. After some marital ups and downs, Lilly announced she was pregnant with the pair’s second child in January 2022. They welcomed son Kashton in June 2022. Lilly filed for divorce in June 2025, requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children.
Her Insta bio states, “Entrepreneur. Attorney. GLAMazon. ✨.”
Lilly founded Swimgerie, a lingerie-inspired swimwear line, which later merged into Have Faith Swimgerie. She launched her luxury eyelash brand Lilly Lashes, which quickly became a go-to for Hollywood and beauty pros.
Next up for Lilly was Lilly Hair human hair extensions. Then, she co-created HAIRtamin, a vegan product line for hair, skin, and digestion. Lilly also launched a body butter line named Bumpology.
Mike Shouhed
A main cast member for all nine seasons of Shahs, Mike was likely not invited to join the cast of The Valley: Persian Style due to the DV charges against him.
ICYMI, there was an awful video of Mike chasing his fiance around their home abusing her. She worried he was going to shoot her.
Shervin Roohparvar
Shahs of Sunset fans met Shervin on season 4 and followed his life within the friend group through the end of the series.
Shervin is best known as a serial entrepreneur. He’s launched various ventures in tech, hospitality, nightlife, and fashion.
His earlier projects included a celebrity-branded headphone line, MUNITIO; Seattle hospitality ventures like Aston Manor/Maison Tavern; and a high-end streetwear store, Estate.
Destiney Rose
Pre-Shahs, Destiney appeared on Bravo’s The People’s Couch.
She joined the Shahs cast in season 6 as a friend of, becoming a main cast member in season 7. Destiney welcomed her son Lennox in July 2019. As founder of Ahhloo accessory line and CEO of Liquid Sweets, Destiney stays off social media.
Her IG bio lets her fans know she’s “Off the grid. Not off the throne. AHHLOOO | TV energy: still loading…😉”
Nema Vand
After joining the cast in season 7, Nema moved to NYC after Shahs wrapped.
He directs commercials and collaborates with Gary Vee, who is married to Nema’s sister, Mona Vand.
ICYMI, Nema directed a Duracell battery commercial featuring Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix. Speaking of VPR, Nema is close friends with Scheana Shay, so his name still pops up in Bravo TV gossip from time to time.
Sammy Younai
A main role in season 1, Sammy was seen here and there through season 7.
After the show, Sammy reportedly built and sold over $40 million worth of real estate. One standout project was a 7,000-square-foot mansion in the Bird Streets, listed for nearly $13 million.
