Vanderpump Rules alum Scheana Shay posted a screenshot of a conversation she had with Jason Chambers and how it affected Adriana de Moura‘s chance dating the babe from Below Deck Adventure.
During the Scheananigans podcast, Scheana threw shade at the Real Housewives of Miami star, but the ‘receipt’ didn’t land with fans as Scheana hoped.
How it started:
During an interview with Decider, Adriana blasted Scheana for interfering in her private business. Adriana explained that she and Jason went on a couple of dates before sharing a kiss on the third date. She had a “good feeling about it.”
But Scheana involved herself. “That girl Scheana got in the middle,” explained the RHOM personality. Apparently, after Adriana spoke vaguely about her connection with Jason at BravoCon 2023, Scheana texted the Captain with a negative spin.
Then, during an episode of WWHL, Adriana announced she’s least looking forward to seeing Scheana at BravoCon 2025. “She created a problem with me and Captain Cutie.”
How it’s going:
A giddy Scheana told Ryan Bailey and Kiki Monique about the text.
“Let me go through my text messages from two BravoCons ago. I went back in my texts to see exactly what I said to Captain Jason. I think everyone should know, I always come with receipts. Learn it.”
“I go back in my texts and all I said to him was ‘Wow. You were a hot topic tonight lol.’ Jason asked for clarity. Scheana replied, ‘Audriana [Adriana] and Ashley Darby.’ That’s all. So for her to claim this, that, and the other?!?! No. I just said, ‘You’re a hot topic tonight. Haha.’ Then he was like, ‘Should we go to the bar we were at last night for drinks? That was our conversation. I’ve got all the screenshots.”
“At the time, I was trying to set him up with one of my friends, Lala.” Scheana, however, pivoted to trying to hook Jason up with Ashley. “I knew she was genuinely interested in him. I did make that connection work. They danced the night together. I’ve got it on video.”
Scheana mimicked Adriana calling Jason, ‘Captain Cootie,’ because of her accent.
The ‘receipt’ and its reactions:
- So her ‘receipts’ prove she was indeed being messy and backs what adriana was saying? It’s like Scheana lives in a parallel universe
- Scheana’s “receipts” back up everything Adriana said and also shows Captain Jason didn’t ask her out for drinks. Captain Jason said he was going for drinks with his crew. Scheana just needs to STOP.
- The way what she’s saying doesn’t even match the messages is sending me 😭 where is he inviting her out for drinks? You were being messy. She can never just own it.
- Mocking Adriana’s actual accent on your podcast? Tacky. Spinning one text into a “receipt”? Desperate.
