Todd and Julie Chrisley‘s daughter, Savannah Chrisley, revealed she was considering a run for public office on the Unlocked With Savannah Chrisley podcast.
Her parents were pardoned from prison earlier this year, but Savannah didn’t get the presidential endorsement she anticipated.
Is Savannah bananas?
The reality TV star was told by “a lot of people in Donald Trump’s administration that politics isn’t the only way to have a positive effect on the world.” Savannah was told that with her following, she could be more impactful outside of government. That way, she wouldn’t have to give up her life.
But, according to Savannah, she has a voice that “95 percent of the politicians” don’t have. So running for office might end up making sense to her. “If my companies go as I hope they go and I can sell, then why wouldn’t I run for public office?”
Savannah is in it for the right reasons:
According to the Chrisley Knows Best personality, she’s not in it for the money. She doesn’t want to be able to look back at the millions of dollars she made, but rather the good things she did.
“If I’m going to be a politician, I’m going to challenge people, and I’m going to do it the right way. And you have to be a voice for the people who are looking at you to be a voice for them. And we need more women.”
Savannah has considered a congressional bid since getting her parents out of prison early with the help of Donald Trump.
