Next Gen NYC‘s Gia Giudice announced on Kaitlyn Bristowe‘s Off the Vine podcast that she is opening an NYC-style Italian eatery in New Jersey … with her mom, Teresa Giudice, helping in the kitchen.
The oldest dorter of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star announced she was going into the restaurant business earlier this year after she and her mom were caught scoping out spots in the fall of 2024.
“I’m actually opening up a restaurant. My mom is just heavily involved in like the interior design and obviously the menu makeup.”
“We are opening a restaurant in Westwood called Il Vero, which means ‘The Truth.’ It is New York City coming to New Jersey.”
“The biggest thing going to an Italian restaurant. I would never get the meatballs and I never would order their pasta with red sauce because it always just sucked. It was never like home.”
“So now my mom’s going to really be in the kitchen making sure everything’s perfect. Our meatballs and our red sauce, I’m telling you …”
“You’re never going to eat a better Italian meal.”
Teresa previously said she wants her family to “run” [not own] the restaurant. The goal? “Keep our family legacy going.” Gia added that they want to venture into the restaurant biz to “Hold on to family tradition.” With pride, she boasted her mom “has three cookbooks. Lots of recipes. So, we want to use this [space] for the restaurant.”
