Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s 16th season may be its final as it’s rumored the peaches have reached their expiration date.
Radar Online made the following claim, which has not been confirmed by Bravo TV.
Too much drama:
NBC is reportedly considering pulling the plug on RHOA after Brit Eady filed a $20M lawsuit against the network, calling the franchise “legally radioactive.”
A production insider alleged, “What made Housewives great, the chaos, is now its biggest threat. It’s just lawsuit after lawsuit.”
“The drama made it great. But now it’s a walking lawsuit.”
Rob Shutter wrote on his Substack, “The champagne’s flat, the taglines are tired, and Bravo may finally be done playing hostess.”
A source close to Brit said, “She begged to see the photo before it aired. They said no. They wanted drama. Now, they’ve got court dates.”
Bravo’s legal docket:
Between Bethenny Frankel’s union threats and Leah McSweeney’s lawsuit, NBCUniversal is allegedly in “full crisis mode.”
In addition to Leah’s allegation that Andy uses cocaine with Bravo talent, she said Andy influenced other Housewives to bash her in the media.
Now, Brit wants $20M in damages over an NSFW photo shown of a woman giving a BJ … who wasn’t even Brit!
“Every cast member’s a legal liability. Bravo has become an embarrassment to NBC News,” alleged an exec.
RHOA is a sinking ship:
According to the ratings, times are tough for the Atlanta ladies. The former franchise favorite broke its record-low viewership on several occasions this year.
Not for the season, though. For the series. All 16 seasons.
Regarding the upcoming RHOA reunion, Kenya wasn’t invited, and Brit Eady was a no-show … before it was announced she was suing Bravo.
