Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Rachel Zoe graced the cover of Hamptons magazine in a dress fit for a diva. (Complimentary).
The celebrity stylist-turned-designer made sure to dip into the fashion archives for the magazine’s unveiling party on Wednesday night, wearing an updated version of the plunging green leaf-print Versace gown that solidified Jennifer Lopez’s stardom in 2000.
Dubbed the “jungle dress,” JLo’s plunging gown worn to the Grammy Awards boasted a neckline that reached all the way to the singer’s pelvis. It was paired with a slit that met up at the very same closure spot, with the sheer skirt barely covering her legs.
Rachel’s version of the dress is more conservative, with an opaque skirt and no slit. The neckline, deep as it remained, didn’t quite reach her belly button.

“In the Hamptons, my uniform is caftans all day, every day,” she shared. So, the unforgettable jungle gown seems to fit in quite effortlessly. “The things that feel luxurious to me now are the things that stand the test of time.”
Fun fact – Jennifer Lopez wasn’t the first to wear the jungle dress. It had already been worn by three other people. Amber Valletta, Donatella Versace, and Spice Girl Geri Halliwell donned the dress before it made it to JLo.
