Love Island USA season 8 star Parmida Keshani spilled the tea on how the Casa Amor girls and Islander boys found out that Alannah Keyser left the show.
Alannah Keyser‘s short stint on LIUSA ended after episode 20, when a video of her mouthing the n-word with a rap song – and using the slur two more times in social media comments – resurfaced. Narrator Iain Stirling made a brief comment confirming Alannah’s exit on the June 25 episode. “Alannah has left Casa Amor.”
Parmida told PEOPLE that the Casa cast was told Alannah “left for personal reasons” … not because of her use of the racial slur. “I just was praying that she was okay. We were friends. So I was just like, ‘Well, I hope it’s nothing family-related. I hope she’s okay.’ But, yeah, that’s what we were told. We kind of just had to move on.”
As per Parmida, it was also “pretty crazy” that the truth of Alannah’s exit wasn’t explained in full to Kayda [Bosse] until movie night. Kayda remained single after Casa Amor and reunited with Zach, who had explored a connection with Alannah before she left. He didn’t tell Kayda that Alannah had been removed, leaving no one else for him to couple up with.
Parmida is exclusively dating Corbin Mims, whom she met on the show, and was eliminated alongside.
