Former Selling Sunset personality Nicole Young doesn’t regret what she said to Chrishell Stause about her late parents.
During a shocking feud on Netflix’s hit show, Nicole used Chrishell’s deceased parents against her. “You’re confusing me with your parents. You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”
The comment was enough to get her kicked off the show, but Nicole stood ten toes down in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Nicole isn’t backing down:
“I don’t [regret it] because I felt like I earned the right to defend myself, especially after years of defamatory accusations.” Nicole continued that Chrishell’s “obsession with drugs was never about me.”
The Oppenheim agent felt that “misguided projection needed to be pointed out.” Nicole relied on semantics for her case. “I didn’t say the word ‘dead.’ Which, unfortunately, Mary [Bonnet] thought she heard. But, I tried to point that out later.”
“Yes, that’s a one-word difference that has a very different meaning. I was never trying to point out a loss or take someone else’s grief and try to make a mockery of that. But, I wanted to point out, ‘Hey. You’re projecting something that has nothing to do with me on me. I’ve had enough.'”
Chrishell and Nicole’s history:
During season 7 of Selling Sunset, Nicole and Chrishell feuded over a listing. Nicole felt Chrishell was undeserving of a co-listing and alleged she was only asked on due to Jason Oppenheimer’s “crush” on her.
Chrishell did not receive any commission once the house sold, despite having showed it to multiple buyers. The falling out lasted the entire season with Chrishell alleging Nicole abuses substances, and Nicole threatening legal action.
Last year, the former Days of Our Lives actress shared a screenshot of Netflix’s Top Ten Shows. In first place was Nicole Kidman’s ‘The Perfect Couple.’
Coming in second is [season 8 of] Selling Sunset. Chrishell commented, “A Nicole I actually don’t mind being next to 🥰😜.”
