The early aughts feel alive in today’s pop culture sphere, down to an unexpected reunion of the stars of Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.
Flying the friendly skies:
Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were coincidentally on the same flight from Los Angeles to Hawaii, according to reports from PEOPLE.
The exes, who were married from 2002 to 2006, kept it cute. “They all had a nice conversation.”
“Nick, Jessica, and [Nick’s wife] Vanessa [Lachey],” the source says. “It was very amicable and cordial.”

For those not familiar with the history, Jessica and Nick tied the knot in October 2002. Their MTV reality show, Newlyweds, was not only a hit … but a cultural phenomenon.
