Nene Leakes has a new show … not on Bravo TV, but on Lifetime! The former Real Housewives of Atlanta personality will star and executive produce ‘Outrageous Love with Nene Leakes.’

According to reports from Deadline, “The show will highlight the ups and downs of couplesโ love lives with commentary by Leakes, who will also draw from her life experiences to give additional insight. Outrageous Love with Nene Leakes is produced by Anomaly Entertainment. Leakes, Matthew Kelly, Michael Sorensen, and Karen Infantino serve as executive producers. Amy Savitsky and Nicole Vogel are executive producing for Lifetime.”

BLOOP! On Wednesday, April 20, 2022, Nene Leakes sued the companies behind RHOA as per reports from ABCnews.go. She alledged they โfostered and tolerated a hostile and racist work environment.โย
According to the lawsuit filed in Atlantaโs federal court, Linnethia Monique Leakes, โcomplained to executives about years of racist remarks from fellow housewife Kim Zolciak-Biermann, who is white, but that only Leakes suffered consequences.โ
The defendants named were NBCUniversal, Bravo, True Entertainment, and Truly Original, executives from the companies and Andy Cohen for fostering โa corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated โ if not, encouraged.โ
Page Six reported, another of Nene’s attorneys, Joe Habachy, weighed in on the toll this took on his client. “Not a day goes by that NeNe doesnโt wake up with an onslaught of overwhelming emotions as a direct result of these unfortunate and avoidable occurrences.โโ Additionally, โThe suit alleges that the defendantsโ actions violate federal employment and anti-discrimination law, and it seeks monetary damages to be determined at trial.โ

ICYMI, Nene has been booked and busy since her time as a Real Housewife. Nene was a contestant on NBC’s The Apprentice in 2004ย & ABC’sย Dancing with the Stars in 2005.
Taking on the world of scripted television, Nene portrayed Roz Washington on the Fox dramedy series, Glee, in 2009. Also, Nene played Rocky Rhoades as a series regular on the sitcom, The New Normal in 2012 on NBC until its 2013 cancellation.
Nene is on a short list of Bravolebrities who made their way to Broadway. Her debut role on Broadway was the Madame in Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella in 2014. She later starred as Matron “Mama” Morton in Chicago on 2015.
Outrageous Love with Nene Leakes premieres July 1st at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
