16 and Pregnant star Whitney Purvis is going to jail … again. A judge found the teen mom guilty of failing to make her child support payments.

The crime and the time:

Documents obtained by TMZ reveal, “Whitney’s arrest was ordered Tuesday by a Floyd County, GA judge who found her in contempt of court over failing to pay her ordered child support. “Whitney has since been booked and is currently in custody — where she has been ordered to serve 48 hours in jail.”

Whitney was not only ordered time behind bars, she’s going to have to pay her financial debts. While paying her current monthly obligation of $353/per month, she was ordered to pay an additional $20 per month to “cover the back support.”

Previous run-ins with the law:

In 2012, Whitney was arrested for shoplifting a pregnancy test from a Walmart. Later that year, she was busted again. This time, she and then-boyfriend “Weston Gosa were accused of destroying someone else’s laptop and cell phone.”Most recently, Whitney allegedly attacked Weston with a broom and and made threats against him for which she was “booked,” according to reports from TMZ.

Whitney appeared on the debut season of 16 and Pregnant, alongside Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell. Whitney was one of only two mothers from the first season of 16 and Pregnant not selected to appear in the network’s follow-up show, Teen Mom.

Weston and Whitney briefly split in 2011. Three years later, Whitney gave birth to the couple’s second son, River Blake. Not long after, “the pair separated again.” In 2016 Gosa married. Both Whitney and Weston have been arrested for a string of offenses since the filming of the show, including driving on a suspended license, criminal trespassing and stealing a pregnancy test. Whitney gave birth to her third son, Collin Adonis, in 2023. She has yet to identify who Collin’s father is.
