Big Brother fan favorite Mickey Lee has passed away.
The reality star died in the early evening on Christmas Day at just 35 years old, her family confirmed.
Mickey had been hospitalized after suffering multiple cardiac arrests while battling complications from the flu.
“With profound sadness, the family of Mickey Lee announces her transition on Christmas in the early evening,” her family shared in a statement posted to social media on Friday, December 26.
“Mickey captured the hearts of audiences nationwide through her appearance on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” the statement continued.
“She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on and off screen.”
ICYMI: Mickey spent 59 days inside the Big Brother house and was the final houseguest evicted before the jury phase began.
Fans may remember her most for activating her HoH Interrogator power, dethroning Rylie Jeffries as Head of Household.
In a bold move, Mickey then nominated Rylie for eviction — though he ultimately saved himself, sending Jimmy Heagerty home instead.
Earlier this week, on Monday, December 22, Mickey’s family revealed she was in “critical but stable condition” and being cared for in the ICU, surrounded by loved ones and medical professionals.
Our thoughts are with Mickey’s family, friends, and the Big Brother community during this devastating loss.
