The Traitors US’s Michael Rapaport replaced his nemesis, Colton Underwood, after Colton’s history of stalking and harassment resurfaced online.
Swapped:
Bachelor Nation‘s Colton was originally scheduled to appear on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, which was announced last week on the late-night show’s social media.
Andy Cohen later revealed that Michael Rapaport would appear on the show instead. While Andy did not acknowledge that Colton was originally scheduled, he announced that Michael would be on the show alongside Vanderpump Rules newbie Angelica Jensen.
Many fans expressed fury over Colton being on the show, with some even threatening to boycott the episode. However, Michael has been very controversial on and off-screen, much like Colton.
Replacing Colton Underwood with Michael Rapaport is 2026 in a nutshell.
The skeletons in Colton’s closet:
Many Traitors fans were furious over Colton’s casting after allegations that he stalked and harassed his ex, Cassie Randolph, following their breakup.
Cassie filed for a temporary restraining order against Colton, whom she met while competing on The Bachelor in 2019. After they broke up, Colton secretly placed a tracking device on Cassie’s car. The former Bachelor was also seen outside her parents’ house in the middle of the night.
Randolph filed a restraining order in September 2020, alleging stalking and harassment. She dropped the order in November 2020 after reaching a private agreement.
Let’s talk about The Traitors reunion …
Andy planned to grill Colton about his past during the reunion. It’s been reported that Colton is barred from discussing certain topics on TV, likely the legal settlement he made with his ex.
A source also revealed that most of the cast learned about Colton’s “stalking history and restraining orders” after the show, which will most likely bring a lot of heat his way at the reunion.
The Traitors airs on Peacock on Thursdays at 9pm EST/6pm PST.
