Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Melissa Gorga has closed the door on having a relationship with Teresa Giudice, despite Tre saying “never say never” to a reconciliation.
Just after the preview for Wife Swap: Real Housewives Edition dropped, Melissa caught up with Page Six regarding the status with her sister-in-law.
Melissa sees through Teresa’s intention:
Joe Gorga’s wife explained what “the truth is” with his sister.
“For the last year,” announced Melissa, “The door has been closed.”
“[Teresa] has said out loud on multiple platforms, podcasts, whatever it might be, that the door is closed. So, the truth is, I’m just confused why it might be opening or cracking a little bit.”
“Neither of us has had any contact in probably two years at this point, so that’s just so strange to come out with that out of nowhere.”
Keep in mind, Teresa changed her tune after hearing rumors that cast members were test-filming. Teresa likened herself to a professor getting to bypass “the test.”
In case you missed Teresa’s interview:
On Jeff Lewis Live, Jeff asked Teresa if she could see herself getting along with her nemeses. She responded, “Never say never,” which came as a surprise to many.
Gia added, “I think everyone can co-exist. Put your big girl panties on and be mature.”
But, Tre doesn’t think the cast will be able to “talk about the past” without moving backwards. “You have to move forward,” Teresa asserted.
Jeff checked the mother of four dorters. “Well, you have to address the past. ‘I’m accountable for this and this. I did this. I’m sorry for this.’ Then they do the same. That’s usually what happens. You reciprocate. Then, you both decide to put it behind you.”
The Flipping Out alum asked if Tre would be willing to make the first move to reconciliation. “We’ll see what happens. If you vent, then I vent, and that’s going to be a cluster f*ck.”
In the words of Gia, it doesn’t appear her mom will “put [her] big girl panties on and be mature” … nor will Melissa.
After all this, are we still at an impasse?!
