Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Margaret Josephs threw a fabulous Pride Party for a wonderful cause.
Danny Murphy from Page Six attended Margaret’s event at New Jersey’s Allendale Social that benefited Family Equality, an organization dedicated to supporting and protecting LGBTQIA+ families.
“Being an ally is not passive. It is not just saying, ‘I love everyone,’” declared the former RHONJ star.
“It is standing next to people when things get hard,” continued Margaret. “It is defending families when they are under attack. It is speaking up when someone tries to make equality negotiable.”
The celebration drew a few familiar faces, including Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King, former Real Housewives of New Jersey personality Kim DePaola, aka Kim D., and, of course, Margaret’s husband, Joe Benigno. Podcast host Jennifer DiLandro, who appeared as a charter guest on Below Deck, was also in attendance.
Margaret posted a video from the soirée with the following caption. “Pride is about joy and love but this year it’s Pride with more purpose than ever🌈❤️.”
“The right to live freely is under attack. The LGBTQ+ community is losing its rights to form families. @FamilyEquality is fighting harder than ever to protect the community. We stand with them loud and proud!”
“So happy we got to dance, soiree and raise money for this incredible organization and show them that you are not alone in this fight! 🪩🌈✨ Loved hosting with you @jaimee.rizzo, and thank you to our generous sponsors and all the people who stepped up and made this event a huge success. You are amazing!”
