Maddi Reese would jump on the opportunity to collaborate on a song with Luann de Lesseps … her boyfriend, Joe Bradley‘s former fling.
The Southern Hospitality star told Page Six that she’s down to remix one of the Real Housewives of New York alum’s classic songs.
The pitch:
“Would you ever be comfortable to do a song with Luann? She’s touring everywhere, and you’re a DJ …” *We’d like to second the request!*
“You’re not the first person” to ask, explained Maddi. “I literally just did a podcast with The Bottoms, and they were hammering me to do a remix of the Jovani song.”
“I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” expressed the DJ. “Then, I saw Andy Cohen yesterday, and he made a comment” about Joe hooking up with Luann. “He’s like, ‘I’m so sorry. You’re never going to hear the end of this.'”
Maddi laughed, “I know” before saying she would “love to” collab with Lu. Fans even requested Southern Hospitality’s resident DJ “should put [a Feeling Jovani remix] on SoundCloud and see if she hears it or whatever.”
The interviewer noted that the crooning Countess “would love it too.” Perhaps she’d even approach Maddi with a new original track. “Maybe I should reach out” to Luann. “It would be awesome.”
“I love the ‘Money Can’t Buy You Class’ one, too. That one’s great.”
Joe got out of the friend zone:
Maddi and Joe detailed that “Timing was everything” in their transition from friends to romantic partners.
Maddi had the revelation that Mr. Right was under her nose after her breakup from Trevor Stokes. “There was no one I trusted more than Joe and our friendship.” While she noted the risk of dating someone you work so well with, she decided, Joe was “worth the risk.”
Maddi and Joe dating explained that their relationship “just kind of naturally happened.” Joe “knew we had a connection. The timing was definitely in our favor.” Maddi agreed.
Joe acknowledged he “needed to grow and Maddi needed to heal. As soon as those two things happened, we started hanging out every day, and it developed naturally.”
