Love Island USA season 7 couple “Chellace” are officially done.
Chelley Bissainthe confirmed she and Ace Greene have split during an appearance on Page Six Radio, revealing the decision was mutual — and far from easy.
“Ace and I actually decided to part ways,” Chelley shared.
“It really was a tough decision for the both of us. But when you love someone, sometimes loving them means letting go. We just came to a decision that was best.”
Chelley and Ace’s chemistry was nearly instant in the villa, carrying them all the way to the final stretch of the Peacock hit.
After leaving the show, Ace even “popped” the exclusivity question while the pair vacationed together in St. Lucia.
Still, Chelley explained that effort and intention weren’t lacking.
“There was a mutual level of respect and understanding that we wanted this to work,” she admitted.
“But sometimes things don’t work. Couples go through challenging things, and sometimes the best thing to do is make the decision that needs to be made.”
According to Chelley, the split didn’t happen overnight.
The former islanders had multiple open and honest conversations before ultimately deciding to go their separate ways.
“We had a lot of conversations,” she said.
“At the end of the day, it was just a mutual agreement that this was for the best.”
Now, Chelley is focused on moving forward — and hopes supporters can respect both her space and the reasons behind the breakup.
As it stands, the only remaining Love Island USA season 7 couple is Iris Kendall and TJ Palma.
Well… and Nicolandria, though that feels more like a mutually beneficial PR arrangement than a true love story at this point.
