The Traitors US star Lisa Rinna alleged she was drugged during the premiere party at West Hollywood hotspot, The Abbey.
The club’s management responded with a statement.
Rinna confirmed the rumor she was drugged:
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum told viewers of Good Day New York what went down. “I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other things.”
“But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”
While Rinna declined to say who she believes was behind her alleged drugging, she did note that the incident took place at The Abbey. “Luckily, my husband [Harry Hamlin] was there and able to get me out of there quickly,” she added.
Rinna also claimed that she knows other people who have allegedly been drugged at The Abbey, including friends of her daughters. “This is not a first-time thing.”
FYI, The Abbey has a really bad reputation for being an unsafe space. “This is something that’s gone on for years [at The Abbey]. I do think it needs to be a conversation. I’m glad now that it’s out and we will deal with it.”
The Abbey’s management issued a statement:
A spokesperson for The Abbey told Page Six they are aware of the “concerns” following Lisa Rinna’s visit last month.
“Lisa’s team shared concerns with us following her visit, and we immediately conducted a thorough internal review. When she became unwell, our security team assisted her and escorted her safely out of the venue.”
“We pulled and reviewed all available surveillance footage from the time in question and interviewed staff on duty.” The bar claimed they found “no evidence” of drink tampering or suspicious behavior toward her.
“We cannot speak to medical findings and do not want to speculate about toxicology results. We take any report of a guest feeling unwell or unsafe extremely seriously and follow established investigative protocols.”
The venue expressed that they are aware of the severity of drink tampering, calling it a “crime.”
“The Abbey has extensive surveillance coverage, trained security personnel, and ongoing drink-safety measures in place,” the statement concluded. “Guest safety remains our highest priority.”
