MAC released their ‘Born Famous’ nepo-baby cosmetics campaign featuring Lisa Rinna and her daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin.
The cosmetic company featured two other “Gen Z celebrities.” Zaya Wade – former basketball star Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s daughter – and Francesca Scorsese – daughter of filmmaker Martin Scorsese – were also photographed for the campaign.
Lisa Rinna was the only parent featured. (We want to know where Gabrielle *does not age* Union’s invitation was!)
Lisa and Amelia launched a retro MAC product:
Introducing MACโs new non-sticky gloss, the Lipglass Air ($25).
.. If you have ever used the original Lipglass, you already know how necessary a NON-sticky version that doesn’t make your hair stick to your lips is!
The instantly controversial ad includes actress/reality TV star/model Lisa Rinna and her daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin, who also models.
Page Six reported the ad was “shot by fashion photographer Sharna Osborne in Hollywood, California. The new campaign exudes a Y2K vibe with tabloid-inspired imagery, as well as an early aughts wardrobe.”
The ad for its new Lipglass Air โ the successor to MACโs Lipglass โ reads, “Meet the MAC nepo baby.” Other phrases state, โFinally, a nepo baby who works as hard as her mother,โ and โYou already love her mother.โ
Lisa and Amelia show off their signature pouts in a photo that pays homage to catalogues from days past.
In a second snap, the mother-daughter duo pose for the paparazzi, with Amelia in a white-and-blue printed polo and pink metallic underwear Rinna wore a pink a pink cropped jacket, beige bodysuit, and white sweatpants.
OK. I peeped MAC’s Nepo Baby ‘Born Famous’ campaign. Here are the highlights …
MAC slayed with the Deux Moi-inspired post.
This ad poked fun at one of Lisa’s legendary catchphrases from RHOBH. “And they will never (Lip)glass over the truth…”
The campaign concluded with a TMZ-esque paparazzi video of the mother/daughter duo …
