Lisa Barlow Claps Back At Lawsuit Claiming She And Her Businesses Have Over $400K In Unpaid Loans

Lisa Barlow responded to the lawsuit against her and her businesses, Vida Tequila, and Luxe Marketing. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City plans to hold her former colleague accountable for saying they have over $400K in unpaid loans. TMZ caught up with the RHOSLC star to discuss the lawsuit against her.

Lisa doesn’t Love That:

“Bart Carlson was once a business partner in a restaurant in Park City. And, I thought, a friend,” began the Wendy’s influencer. “I am deeply saddened that he has decided nine years after our restaurant business ceased to claim that I owe him money. To be very clear, the claim that I owe Bart or his company money is untrue. I pay my bills and obligations and I always have,” snapped Lisa.

“In addition, Bart has no interest in Luxe Marketing or Vida Tequila and did not invest in either business. I look forward to the truth coming out.” Finally, “I intend to hold Bart fully accountable for any damage this personal attack may cause me or my businesses.”

The RHOSLC star, Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing are defendants in a lawsuit. The plaintiff, Bart Carlson, claims Lisa has unpaid loans he says he made to her starting over a decade ago. According to Bart, Lisa came to him in 2010 and told him she and her businesses were experiencing financial hardship. She needed a loan to cover expenses.

Bart claims he agreed to give Lisa the money, but “didn’t specify a time period for repayment because of his longtime friendship with Barlow.” He alleged he loaned Lisa and Vida a total of $410,842.36 from Mid 2010 – early 2018 and has yet to receive any repayment.

When he’s asked for the money, the Bravo TV personality allegedly said there’s no way for her or her companies to pay him back. “Now he wants some help from a judge to get what he claims he’s owed.”
