Lala Kent is opening up more about Danny Booko and the apology heard round the Bravoverse.
The Valley star revealed on a recent episode of Two T’s In a Pod that she believes watching the season back may have forced Danny to take a hard look in the mirror.
“I think he watched it. I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. I think he watched it and thought, ‘Oh, this is a mirror, and I need to issue a statement,’” Lala shared during the May 25 episode.
She also teased that the season 3 reunion is filming soon.
According to Lala, she plans for even more about Danny and Nia’s marriage to be addressed.
“I think that there’s a lot of work to be done. And we film the reunion pretty soon. And there are things that are going to be brought up and spoken about,” Lala said.
“I don’t know that there’s been a behavior shift. I know that being alcoholic is a self-diagnosed disease. I’m not labeling him as that.”
However, the former Vanderpump Rules star made it clear she doesn’t think Danny is inherently a bad person — but says alcohol appears to bring out a different side of him.
“I’ve been around Danny when he’s not drinking or he knows his limit and he’s absolutely lovely.”

Lala stepped in during the cast trip to San Diego after Danny and Nia got into a heated argument while preparing for the pageant.
Because of her past relationship with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett, Lala admitted Danny’s aggression and anger toward Nia felt “triggering” to witness.
Ahead of last week’s episode airing, Danny addressed the backlash in an apology posted to social media.
“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of,” Danny wrote in part on May 20.
