Todd and Julie Chrisley’s son, Kyle Chrisley, was allegedly violent with police officers, threatening to kill them, during his arrest on Saturday night.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office gave a statement to Page Six about the 34-year-old reality TV personality’s arrest.
Arrest deets:
Deputies responded to a call after Kyle’s wife called dispatchers to report her husband was “being belligerent.” Kyle was walking down the middle of a two-lane street while she followed him in her car.
“When attempting to speak with Mr. Chrisley, he became immediately aggressive, charged at deputies and began to throw punches and assault deputies,” the office told us. “After a physical altercation and deployment of OC Spray, Mr. Chrisley was taken into custody.”
Kyle’s wife said he was making suicidal and homicidal threats. She explained that he did not answer police questions and punched three different officers in the face. It also said that Kyle told the officers he “would kill all of them.”
Police further stated in the affidavit that Kyle admitted to drinking approximately 64 ounces of beer while at dinner. He appeared to be under the influence.”
He was arrested and charged with three counts of assault on a law officer, domestic violence, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Additionally, he was hit with three additional charges for allegedly retaliating for past actions.
