Congratulations to Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick on their engagement! While on a cast trip to Maui, The Valley stars decided to take the next step in their relationship.
The proposal:
After two years of courtship, Luke popped the question to Kristen on a boat at sunset. He told the former Vanderpump Rules personality to “keep an eye out for dolphins while he got down on one knee.” Kristen told US Weekly, the engagement “was a total surprise.”
“I knew from the moment we met that Luke was my person. I am so excited to continue this journey together, now as fiancés.”
The ring:
Luke collaborated with jewelry designer, Kyle Chan, on designing Kristen’s engagement ring. Kristen proudly wears a “14K white gold, 4.27 carat Emerald cut diamond.” There’s more! There’s a “half carat worth of diamonds on the band and hidden halo.”
According to the couple, the hidden halo setting represents the “love around the center diamond, ‘Kristen.’”
Never forget Kyle Chan also also worked with Tom Schwartz on Katie Maloney’s ring and Jax Taylor on Brittany Cartwright’s ring. We truly hope Kristen and Luke break this cycle!
