From the Werq Room to Down Under … Kori King and Lydia B. Kollins are taking their Showmance on tour to Australia!
RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s season 17 competitors caught feelings before both were ultimately eliminated, but the romance between ‘King Butthole’ continues to thrive.
The couple was filmed together during the penultimate episode of RPDR’s 17th season, which aired on MTV on 4/12, and love was in the air!
How it started:
The couple made it official in February when Kori King confirmed sheโs in a relationship with her quirky competitor, admitting sheโs a โcommitted girl.โ โ
Gay Times reported, “With Drag Race filmed months before its air date, fans speculated on the status of their romance. At a recent appearance at Roscoeโs Tavern Viewing Party, Kori told co-hosts Naysha Lopez, Betty Davis, and Kara Mel DโVille that their relationship continued after filming.โ
โYou know whatโs so funny? We were kind of talking to each other, and fighting, stuff like that,โ Kori kikied. โWe werenโt thinking about it for the cameraโs sake, which is probably why they didnโt catch as much of it.โโ
โ
When asked about the โextentโ of their relationship, Kori confirmed, โWeโre together, officially. It progressed after we got home. And then it flourished a couple of months after filming.โโ
Last month, RuPaul’s Drag Race confirmed Lydia and Kori were still a couple. They captioned a couple’s post, “we โค๏ธ buttking.”
How it’s going:
Butt King are taking their love on the road, well, on a plane down under.
