Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Bozoma Saint John thanks Tina Knowles for her role in dating her now-fiancee, Keeley Watson.
The business woman turned Real Housewife told PEOPLE that she had turned down a date with her now-fiancee before agreeing to go out with Keeley … that is until Beyonce’s mom showed interest.
Uncle energy:
“I was at his nephew’s house, because he’s married to Harmonia Rosales, who is an artist whose work I have purchased.”
“They were having an event at their house to celebrate her new book, that she had contemplated writing. It was there that his nephew told me that Keely had seen a picture of me and asked if he could set us up. I was like, ‘I’m not going to date your uncle. Do I look like I date uncles?’ I was like, ‘Do you see me? Really? This is insulting.’”
“Ms. Tina, Beyoncé’s mom, was in the group. Everybody was giving their opinions because I was like, ‘Well, let’s go look at his Instagram.’ You’ve got to do the stalking and see what happens,” joked Boz, who did a deep dive on Amanda Frances during her freshman season.
When they pulled up photos of Keeley, Boz said that Tina appeared to show interest. “Ms. Tina, she’s like, ‘Well, I date uncles,’ and I was like, ‘You better move. I was here first,’” the Netflix exec laughed. “‘This is my uncle. You get out of here!’”
In late 2024, Tina finally met Keely in person, and gave Boz her stamp of approval. “Since we had been looking at the Instagram, she hadn’t seen him. Obviously, she knows we’re dating and whatnot. So when she met him at the Wicked premiere, she was like, ‘Yeah, that was good.’ So it feels very full circle.”
