In the City‘s ‘friend of’ Katie DeLuca broke her silence about Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s relationship.
Summer House‘s Scamanda not only rocked the Bravosphere, but Katie and Amanda’s long-standing friendship.
Katie told Page Six, that she found out about Amanda and West’s situationship just before the world did. “I found out the details the day before the statement came out. I showed up to her apartment unannounced and was like, ‘I need to have a conversation with you.'”
She asked Amanda, “What the f*ck is going on?” Katie explained that she and Amanda “had disagreements in private” over how Amanda and West navigated their relationship.
“I remember when she filmed with Lindsay [Hubbard] one-on-one. I had drinks with Lindsay. She had given me some updates on West’s timeline with Meija [Moreno].”
“So,” Katie continued, “I raised real concerns with Amanda. I was like, ‘I don’t think you should be going to Mexico with this man. He might drop you like a hotcake. Do you really want to give up everything? What are you doing?'”
Katie was asked if Amanda had “denied” her situationship with West when asked about it before. She answered, “Yes, and she lied.”
