Bachelor Nation‘s Kaitlyn Bristowe explained how social media negatively affected her relationship with Jason Tartick. During an episode of the “U Up?” podcast, Kaitlyn detailed how things soured over the amount of attention they received.
The social media of it all:
“I think we both got caught up [in social media] in the beginning,” Bristowe said on Sunday. “You know, we shared very quickly [that we were together] and Bachelor Nation loves another Bachelor Nation couple. We got all this attention and I seriously think we both got a little lost in that.”
She continued, “We got caught up in monetizing our relationship for social media and that felt gross really quick.”
Kaitlyn explained how complicated social media is to navigate when a couple experiences “tough times.” When Jason and Kaitlyn stopped posting about one another frequently, “People start questioning it [and] it invites a lot of noise.”
In case you missed it:
Kaitlyn got caught up in a messy AF situation with Tayshia Adams and her former fiancé, Zac Clark. Since Tayshia is happily dating Summer House‘s Luke Gulbranson, Kaitlyn figure Tayshia wouldn’t mind her dating Zac.
Tayshia minded.
Without naming names Kaitlyn detailed her falling out with another former Bachelorette. “I went on a date with somebody from the franchise and I reached out to the girl that he used to be with. [She and I] hadn’t talked in months and, no, we’re not [friends]. We probably look like friends on the outside, but we’re not.”
According to Kaitlyn, “A guy from Bachelor Nation” slipped in her DMs following her 2023 split from ex-fiancé Jason Tartick. The unnamed man (Zac) asked her on a date, but Kaitlyn wanted to speak to his ex.
