New Kids On The Block singer Jonathan Knight has one less gig now that HGTV canceled Farmhouse Fixer.
Farmhouse Fixer was the fourth popular HGTV show to get canceled this week, in addition to Married To Real Estate, Bargain Block,ย andย Izzy Does It.
Jonathan’s statement:
The Hangin’ Tough singer took to Instagram to share the news of Farmhouse Fixer’s future. “I am sad to say HGTV has decided not to move forward with another season.”
“While Iโm still processing the reasons that led to their decision, Kristina [Crestin] and I are so grateful for all your support over the past 3 seasons. “
“Television has been so incredibly fun for us. We are so proud of what we created together and look forward to sharing whatโs next for us.โ
Donnie Wahlberg slid into his bandmate’s comment section to leave a message. “On to the next one! You got this. We are all ready for what you do next! โค๏ธ”
Jonathan has come a long way!
After rising to fame in the 1980s NKOTB, he left the group in 1994 due to anxiety and panic disorders.
Jonathan later found success renovating homes in the Boston area.
In 2015, Jonathan and his husband, Harley Rodriguez, participated in the 26th season of The Amazing Race, finishing in 9th place.
In 2021, he became the host of HGTV’s Farmhouse Fixer, where he modernizes historic New England farmhouses. The series had more than 15 million viewers in the first two seasons.
Jonathan competed on ‘Rock the Block‘ with his cousin/NKOTB bandmate Jordan Knight.
Jonathan is booked and busy in Sin City:
New Kids on the Block have a Las Vegas residency, so Jonathan won’t have time for renovations for a while.
Jonathan is booked until July 5th for the first leg of the residency, then November 1st-15th for its second leg.
If you’re in Vegas, I went to ‘The Right Stuff’ residency opening night, and the guys delivered.
