The Valley star Jesse Lally learned about his ex-wife, Michelle Saniei dating Dr. Dre just like the rest of us did … on social media!
ICYMI, the iconic rapper and the real estate agent/reality TV star were first spotted together outside LA’s Nobu over the weekend, holding hands.
One, two, three and to the four – Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre is at the door:
Jesse told TMZ, “I did not get a heads up” when speaking about his ex’s romance with the iconic rapper. He revealed he “saw it on social media the same way as everyone else.”
Noting the new couple’s 24-year age gap, Jesse “didn’t see this one coming.”
Considering Michelle isn’t a rap girlie, Jesse was extra taken aback. “I don’t think she ever listened to rap music. So dating Dr. Dre, good for her.”
Michelle and Dr. Dre are getting acquainted, but Jesse goes waaaaayyy back with Dre. “N.W.A is the first cassette I ever bought in 1988 — the year Michelle was born — so good for her.”
Despite their “traumatic” divorce last year, Jesse made it clear that he is happy for Michelle. His main focus continues to be on their 6-year-old daughter, Isabella Bunny. “Michelle’s divorced and she’s single and whatever makes her happy is cool. I just hope she’s really focused on Isabella right now. Other than that, she can do whatever she wants.”

The unlikely pair reportedly met through Michelle’s close friend, Ashley Palmer-Gilkey.
FYI, Ashley is the general manager of Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Records. If you watched Kurt Loder on MTV News, you probably remember when Dr. Dre founded the label in 1996 after he left Death Row Records.
