It wasn’t a secret that Vanderpump Rules alum James Kennedy was violent with women he dated … he’s been under investigation by Bravo TV since 2023 when a whistleblower reported him.
The investigation:
According to reports from Page Six, “A production insider alerted Evolution Media to a laundry list of claims about Kennedy that had either been floating around behind the scenes of the show, been hinted at publicly, or even mentioned during tapings of the show.”
“Among them were claims that he attacked more than one woman he’d had a sexual relationship with. According to documents seen by Page Six, Bravo hired an independent attorney to investigate the claims.”
What triggered the whistleblower to report James:
Sources told the tabloid that the whistleblower was “horrified” by James at BravoCon in 2023. He appeared with the VPR cast as the investigation was still under way.
The whistleblower was appalled that the organizers had him sing a song “You Can Suddenly Become The Number One Guy In The Group” and gave him an award for “Colloquial Excellence.”

Police “Contacted male and female inside a residence.” The “female stated her boyfriend lifted her up and threw her to the ground. Male arrested.” James posted $30,000 bond.
Ally’s current status:
Days ago, Ally provided her Instagram followers with a statement after she was thrown to the ground by her boyfriend, James Kennedy, in their Burbank home.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” began Ally. She shared her appreciation to those “checking on me.”
Ally reassured her fans, “I’m okay and taking the time I need right now. I deeply appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.”
The living situation:
Recently, Ally was spotted leaving her shared home with James Kennedy. The DJ (whose gigs have been canceled) helped Ally with her belongings.
A source told TMZ that “despite the recent situation, James and Ally are still together romantically as of now. Ally, however, has temporarily relocated to an Airbnb nearby, where she plans to stay with her family, who recently arrived in town to support her.”
“Ally is still processing the situation and hasn’t made any long-term decisions about the relationship. For now, she’s leaning on her family for support as she navigates the holidays and decides her next steps.”
