Stassi Schroeder showed compassion towards Taylor Frankie Paul despite seeing the video of her being violent with her ex and her child getting injured.
The House of Stassi star appeared on Danielle Fishel‘s podcast and discussed the domestic violence spectacle that kept the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives personality’s season of The Bachelorette from airing.
“I really do care about all of those girls a lot, which has made this very hard for me to stomach,” began Stassi. “The videos that were out there and circulating really hurt to see. So there’s like the mom and me at first wants to just be like, how could you? But then the human being in me is like, we don’t know what drove her to this.”
As someone who had been ‘canceled,’ Stassi is able to empathize with TFP. “I think that as long as you are breathing and living, you can change who you are if who you are is not who you want to be at any moment in life. That is the beauty of living.”
“It is never too late to shift the narrative of your life, to change the story, the trajectory of your life, to shift who you are. I think that she has this opportunity, especially when you feel like you’re at the lowest point in your life. To me, that is a great gift because the sky’s the limit. You can be anyone you want to be.”
“I would love to see her just take a break from social media and heal herself and then in a year or two, come back and really inspire the rest of the world. That’s what I want for Taylor Frankie Paul.”
