Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Gretchen Rossi answered Andy Cohen‘s question about what really happened during ‘Naked Wasted‘ night on Watch What Happens Live.
Truth bomb:
Andy asked the question RHOC fans have asked for weeks: “What happened the night of ‘Naked Wasted?’ Did you go to the hospital, or did you think you should have gone to the hospital? And why did you say you did?”
Gretchen responded, “Having to relive that entire traumatic situation of a woman trying to get another woman completely ‘naked wasted’ to do something stupid and set you up, I just think it was a lot.”
“I was just trying to process it all, and I obviously misspoke in that moment.”
“I never went to the hospital. That is why I said in my interview, ‘I never went to the hospital, and why I passed the lie detector test.'”
“I think what’s frustrating for me is even in that moment, even when I said that, Tamra still showed no remorse. Isn’t that interesting?”
Andy asked about the alleged conversations Slade Smiley had with Matt Ginella. “That is complete and total BS. Everything that Matt’s saying about that is not even true.”
He also asked Gretchen who the two people were that involved with the ‘Naked Wasted’ hospital gossip. Gretchers NAMED ‘EM.
“It was Dave Quinn and Kiki Monique.” Dave Quinn, imho, is, in fact, a “credible journalist” who has written for PEOPLE for years. He penned the NYT bestselling book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It.
(I read Dave Quinn’s book several years ago and really enjoyed it. Dave pointed out how the culture of the housewives changed when Tamra entered the franchise. She was the person who started talking about others behind their backs, turning the shows into endless games of telephone, which is accurate!)
Andy reminded Gretchers, “We will get into more of this on the reunion,” making her visibly uncomfortable.
