Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Gizelle Bryant rubbed elbows with Angelina Jolie as the moms celebrated their daughters over the weekend.
The Academy Award winner and reality TV star were both in attendance at a mother-daughter brunch hosted by the Pearls of Purpose Foundation and the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha at Spelman College in Atlanta.
Angelina’s daughter, Zahara, attends Spelman along with Gizelle’s daughter Angel.
All roads lead to Bravo:
Angelina and Zahara posed for a photo with Gizelle and Angel, which the reality star later shared on her Instagram Story, along with text reading, “Mother Daughter Magic.”
Bryant is an alumni of the historic African American sorority, which was founded at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Her daughter Adore, who attends Hampton University in Hampton, Va., is also a member. Bryant’s third daughter, Grace, is currently a sophomore at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Fla.
Zahara took the stage at the event to give a touching speech about her mother, whom she described as “the most selfless, loving, and understanding woman.”
“When I was asked today to speak on the value of mother-daughter relationships, it felt challenging to find the words,” Zahara said as her mother watched, per a Facebook video. “Not challenging because I don’t value it, but because my mom and I have a unique, almost kindred, relationship that can be hard to put into words.”
While we are talking about Gizelle’s daughters …
Angel’s twin, Adore, is also thriving in college life.
Last month, she honored her mom by recreating a photo Gizelle took in her days as a sorority girl at Hampton University. “Legacy. I have fulfilled a lifelong dream of entering the sisterhood of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. A dream that completes my mother’s legacy.”
“To you, Soror Mommy, I thank you for showing me the meaning of lifelong sisterhood and service. As I follow in the footsteps of the distinguished Gamma Theta women whom have come before me, I am forever grateful for the ability to be apart of something GreaTer.”
“To my Gorgeous and Talented line sisters, I thank you all for pouring into me endless love, support, and sisterhood that will last a lifetime. Beauty Unparalleled, Grace Undefined, An Alpha Kappa Alpha Woman is one of a kind.”
