Ezra Sosa has his partner’s back both on the dance floor and off.
The Dancing With the Stars pro took to social media to shut down the online rumors swirling around his Season 34 partner, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles.
Jordan’s been labeled a “mean girl” with a “bad attitude” after a few out-of-context clips went viral during Disney Night — and Ezra wasn’t having it.
Jordan’s Backlash
The first moment came when DWTS announced its upcoming tour just as Jordan and Ezra headed up to the skybox to get their scores.
Jordan was the only celeb in the shot surrounded by pros, and when she was ushered off camera for the announcement, fans thought her body language said it all.
The second so-called “moment” came when Ezra lifted Jordan after they were declared safe for another week.
“Princess Tiana” could be heard saying, “Put me down.”
Cue the “mean girl” commentary.
Ezra Enters the Chat
Ezra hit Instagram to set the record straight.
DWTS Social Media Reacts:
- Well said buddy. Proud of you both. Keep killing it 🫶🏼👊🏼 — Mark Ballas
- Haters are always gonna find something to hate. You two are incredible. And Jordan is amazing. She’s also fierce! No apologies needed for that. Love you both. 😍 — Elaine Hendrix
- Love watching you two on the show! You’re killing it 🔥❤️ — Xochitl Gomez
“She is an incredible human being and someone I care about deeply,” he wrote.
“The bond we’ve built and the way we show up for each other is real and special, even if it doesn’t fit everyone’s idea of what that should look like.”
Jordan also shared a similar sentiment (though her post has since been deleted).
Ezra wrapped his message with a mic-drop of his own:
“What we share is something I’ll always stand up for. I’m so grateful for you [Jordan] you don’t even know.”
Honestly? Voting for Team Jordan & Ezra feels like the perfect way to right this wrong.
