Erika Hammond had her own dose of “Scary Island” on the newest episode of The Real Housewives of New York City.
The RHONY newbie spoke to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea about Erin Lichy and Daisy Toye’s snark over her “private island.”
“I mean, you see the footage. I don’t need to defend what it is,” Erika said.
“If you don’t like it, you’re not welcome back anyway.”
ICYMI: During Tuesday’s episode, “Trouble in Paradise,” the cast journeyed to Erika and her husband Ankur Jain’s Moskito Island estate in the British Virgin Islands.
Moskito Island was originally purchased by Richard Branson and is now home to privately owned estates, including Erika and Ankur’s.
However, both Erin and Daisy were less than impressed with the accommodations — especially Erin, who called out her guest room for having a sleeper sofa.
During the conversation, Daisy also told Erin that Martha Stewart, one of her celebrity makeup clients, wouldn’t be impressed with the island or the home they were staying in.
“After seeing that scene, it was really tough,” Erika continued.
“It was really hard, and I think [Erin] apologized. She actually sent me a text recently and apologized, right after the show came out.”
But Erika wasn’t exactly buying it.
She described Erin’s apology as “fake,” adding that she “doesn’t like fake apologies.”
